The Green Ship Token is a digital security in the form of tokenised, qualified subordinated participation rights. The subscribed capital will be used for the acquisition of the latest generation of Handysize bulkers. Handysize bulkers are among the all-rounders in the shipping industry. Due to their size and technical equipment, they are particularly flexible in worldwide use and can even call at ports with a lack of infrastructure.
Unlike a container ship serving fixed routes, Handysize bulkers follow their cargo and are deployed where they are needed. They are therefore predestined for the transport of goods for daily needs. They transport loose goods such as grain, coal, ores, minerals and other raw materials. The focus is on low-emission Handysize bulkers, preferably of the Green Dolphin class. They save about 40 percent fuel while at the same time reducing CO2 emissions.
